Heartly House 101
Have you ever wanted to learn more about the mission, services, and role of Heartly House? Heartly House is the only organization in Frederick County to provide comprehensive services to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and human trafficking. In this program, you’ll learn more about how we aid those in need in our community.
Domestic Violence is a prominent and terrible reality for so many in our community. In this program, you’ll learn about what domestic violence is, the signs of abuse, the use of power and control, and how to be an active bystander.
In Plain Sight: Understanding Stalking 101
Did you know most victims of stalking were stalked by a current or former intimate partner? In this program, we will discuss the dangers of stalking, warning signs, and how to safely support a victim of stalking.
In this program, we’ll talk about mental and emotional abuse, and how to see the signs before it’s too late. We will look at some red flags of relationship abuse, talk about emotional and mental abuse, and give you tips for how to support a friend who may be in an abusive situation.
