One week ago, Governor Larry Hogan (R) on Monday announced nearly $2 million in federal grants for programs in Frederick County.

According to a press release from the Maryland Governor’s office, the federal government awarded the state more than $46 million through Victim Assistance grants. The funds of these grants are geared toward providing services and treatment for crime victims.

We are proud to announce that we were the biggest local benefactor of the grants, receiving more than $1 million.
